1. Place the JOEYCAN on the floor under the shower head
2. The JOEYCAN is collecting the cold water while you wait for it to warm up
3. Stand the JOEYCAN up and place it to the side
4. After your shower, the JOEYCAN will be full of clean water
5. The water can be used for your plants, garden or even to fill your dog’s bowl (remember, it’s clean!)
At home, you can do your part by saving instead of wasting water. It may not seem like a lot but if there are 4 of you taking showers, using the JOEYCAN will save you a substantial amount of water over the year. Think about it: approximately 5 people at 6 litres or 1.6 gallons is the equivalent of the gas tank on a small hybrid car.
Deserts growing, water tables dropping, cities going dry and being shipped water: these things are happening now - and not just in foreign countries. Sounds a bit dramatic, doesn’t it? Unfortunately, it’s happening. More and more, water shortages are a reality where we live. Raising awareness of water shortage leads to greater consciousness of water conservation.
